Hoodrats

This project started out as a successful yet labor intensive stuffed animal venture, soon spun off into street art projects, a painting series, some small creature even ended up in the wild on several continents.

This project was also taught as a workshop on how to make these creatures by felting a shell over potatoes with raw wool, soap, and hot water, then removing the felted shell, stuffing them, and sewing together adding legs feet of wire and making eyes and noses from polymer clay.
