Digital Footprint

This project is in the works for an artist residency at Art Farm Nebraska during summer 2022-2023. alot of my work borders the spaces between physical and digital spaces, and this piece attempts to use physical interaction to cause wear and tear on digital spaces. Be patient while digital sculpture loads.

This is the beginning of the outer shell and inner wood sculpture. The cube is about 2 feet on each side and will be formed with concrete. The cube is mounted on an axle that is meant to be rotated by the viewer. The inner object is cedar wood and will be mounted on bevel gears in differential gear setup, with the carrier fixed to the chassis to make the center object rotate in the opposite direction of the outer cube when moved.
