Vanburger on the Beach
A few years ago my partner and I decided we had enough with city living for a while and figured hitting the road was an excellent way to scratch that itch. we sought out to build a self sustaining off the grid home solution that we could both live and see travel the United States with. Everything inside was framed out by me while working at a metal fabrication shop (vvolfy metal works) that specialized in circus equipment and aerial yoga rigs.
In the process of building, I learned to weld, honed my carpentry skills, and my electrician skills while also learning more about solar power and mechanic skills.
The van’s name comes from my dear friend NIkki who once was trying to think of the name of a Jimmy Buffet song we were hearing while snowboarding and mistakenly called “Cheeseburger in Paradise” hamburger on the beach which is a much more simplistic less fantastic way of saying a sandwich in a pleasant location and thus the name for our van was born.
I made a video tour for my grandma to see the van on you tube. Check it out!!
